For we are God’s fellow workers. We had our first “preview service” this past Sunday September 13th. Looking back over the day, it was full of joy and excitement, the Lord made His presence known, and all were blessed. It took a lot of hard work from a lot of people. When we all come together and check our agendas at the door, God does some really great things in us and through us. Thank you Lord for all those you have sent to be a part of the church you are planting in Idyllwild. They are truly a blessing!
Join Idyllwild Assembly of God church in the Chapel at Idyllwild Pines Meadows Camp at 10 am every second Sunday through the end of 2015. We will worship together in song, hear a message from Pastor Mark Garrett, and get to know each other better as we celebrate the Lord Jesus together.

And Jesus said to them,”I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst- John 6:35
Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be made well? – John 5:5-6 Jesus question might seem a little strange. But one commentator states: “ an eastern beggar often loses a good living by being healed of his disease”Likewise many people today who are in bad situations are afraid to do anything about it because the situation they are in is familiar, and to allow God to move in their life would bring the unfamiliar into their life and that is uncomfortable. Lord forbid if we have to get a little uncomfortable!I heard of a prison that was converted into a hotel and is ran by nuns. Many today are living imprisoned in comfortable, familiar, unproductive lives, They are living in comfortable prisons. Jesus said, ” I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Are you living a life that is rewarding and fulfilling? If not Jesus is the answer!
Thanks to Jeremiah Heikkila for video of our IAG float in the Idyllwild 4th of July Parade.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ made you free Galatians 5:1
As we celebrate our country’s independence, we also remember those who died for it and those who continue to fight to keep it. Liberty has come at a high price and and thousands have given their lives so we can enjoy freedom today. Their sacrifice should never be overlooked. Jesus Christ also gave his life so that we can can be free from the penalty of sin, death and the grave. He loves us. That is why he did it. As we we remember our countrymen let us remember our Savior.
God bless you and God Bless America.
